Weld-on plates
A plate that is welded on should include a hole.
If parts are mounted with surfaces facing one another, air must be allowed to escape from the enclosed space, however small it may be. The plate that is welded on should therefore include a hole. If the plate that is welded on has been welded all around and if no hole has been drilled, this may result in hazardous situations during the galvanisation process. The object can be distorted, crack, or even explode and that can have very serious implications for the people working in the galvanisation plant.
