Steel structure for the overhauled CKE building: not least the steel structures on the roof, the overhanging eaves and the curtain wall.
The steel structure of the curtain wall, a 'second façade’ as it were, was hot-dip galvanised by Rotocoat, and given a RAL 9011 graphite-black two-layer powder coating. The latticework on the 'second façade’ was hot-dip galvanised by Rotocoat, and given a RAL 9003 signal-white two-layer powder coating. Prominent panels of blue powder-coated expanded metal have also been attached at various points along the wall.
